Join Keith Hamburg and the Office of Financial Education for an informative workshop on Planning Your Financial Future on Thursday, September 22nd from 12:00pm - 1:00pm. Lunch is provided. Please RSVP to help us plan for enough food.

We are having a yogurt and granola bar tomorrow in the TRIO office from 8:15am - 11:00am! We will have bowls and cups so you are able to snag one and bring it to class if you would like!

If you haven't met her yet, Meredith Knowles is our new retention specialist! She is who you will be setting up your one-on-one advising meetings with twice per month. Please utilize her appointment scheduler to set up your first meeting of the semester as soon as you can! She is so excited to meet you all!

The First-Gen Committee is looking for students to start a first-gen student club on campus! This is a great way to gain leadership skills, build a community on campus, and make new friends! If you are interested, please reach out to Mackenzie or reply to this email for more information.

A Message from Counseling and Psychological Services
|
Counseling and Psychological Services continues to offer free and confidential individual, group, and couples counseling. Students can call our office at (406) 994-4531 or schedule an intake online at their convenience. Our drop-in Let’s Talk hours also began this week—this is a great option if a student is unsure about going to counseling or simply wants to speak to a counselor about a specific issue and may not need ongoing services. Information about our services, Let’s Talk locations and times, as well as many other resources to support mental health can be found at our new mental health resources page.
Upcoming Trainings! Registration for upcoming Mental Health First Aid trainings for staff/faculty and for students is open. Please see the attached flyer or go to our suicide prevention and programming page for more information and to register.
MUS Mental Health and Wellness Summit (Sept 20-22, Billings) Please consider attending a statewide summit on college mental health and wellness hosted by the Montana University System. This a FREE event open to students, faculty, staff, mental health providers and community members and focuses on promoting positive student mental health across the entire university system.
