Sharing What We Know Best: FUN & Enriching Activities!
Session Share| Ms. Chiwishi's Cooking Class
As a former chef, community arts educator, and a proud graduate of Walnut Hill College, I love sharing  techniques to include fruit and veggies to every satisfying recipe.

When I cook, I pay homage to my grandmother who moved from Georgia to Baltimore and eventually settled in Philadelphia. I also honor my grandfather who was a cook downtown in notable restaurants. When they got married, he taught her how to cook and when I was 11 years old, my grandma  taught me how to bake bread for the first time. I fell in love with baking after that and never stopped. There’s nothing like sitting at the dinner table at end of a long day, enjoying a meal with loved ones.

Ms. Chiwishi started teaming up with Ms. Kaya for cross-site cooking on Thursdays at 4:30. Join the fun as we practice self-care together in the kitchen!
