Check out the corners of the whiteboards in your classroom for them. The Student Success Center has ready-to-use Canvas modules that you can import into your courses with instructions on using these RocketBook Beacons! Topics include virtual learning, engaging in class, test-taking tips, and more! Locate the modules by typing “Student Success Center” in the Canvas Commons search bar and then import the content that suits your class. If your classroom whiteboard is missing the orange triangles in the corners, email helpdesk@uah.edu and let us know!

How to Build Extra Time for Quizzes in Canvas |
If you have students who have DSS-sanctioned accommodations for extra time on timed assignments and exams. If the exam is administered through Canvas, you can set this up easily. Using Respondus LockDown Browser this Fall? |
If you plan to use Respondus LockDown Browser this fall, be aware there are different set ups for New and Classic Canvas quizzes. To better understand the student's experience, you may enroll in an Experiencing Respondus Course.
It allows you to see firsthand what students go through when using the program. Feel free to contact the helpdesk@uah.edu for more information and to request your enrollment in the course.

New McGraw Hill Integration Available in Canvas |
The newest McGraw Hill LTI 1.3 integration is available in Canvas. All legacy McGraw Hill integrations will be decommissioned at the end of the Fall 2025 semester. If you are not currently using the newest McGraw Hill content, you will need to migrate your materials to the newest version before Spring 2026 semester.

New Tool: Introducing
Qwickly for Attendance |
We're pleased to announce that Qwickly, an attendance tracking tool, is now available in Canvas. This streamlined solution allows faculty to easily take attendance that sync automatically to your Canvas gradebook. Qwickly can be accessed directly from your Canvas course Settings>Navigation menu.
