Dear Colleagues:
This issue is all about faculty development opportunities for you. First we highlight the features of our new LMS system Canvas. Stay tuned for training opportunities from CITAL on this new system. Next, we hope those of you planning on teaching online will take advantage of the free Quality Matters workshop in mid-May, and we salute the Valpo faculty who presented at the recent Midwest SoTL Conference. Finally, we provide answers to common questions to help you save time in Blackboard and Simple Syllabus as you plan for your summer and fall courses. We hope your end of spring semester is going well. Remember that we will be here all summer to help you with anything related to teaching and learning.
Sincerely,

The CITAL Team (Ed, Gina, and Cindy)
