A Word From Mr. Martin
Dear Parents,
At LCA’s first Board meeting, we started a new ‘Board’ year and with a new year brings a rotation of Board members.
Board terms are three years with the option of extending to another three years. After six years, a year of absence is taken before possibly re-entering the nominations process. The nine members are sourced based on skillset and what they can contribute to the Board. For instance, it is healthy to have a board that reflects the financial, school experience (alumni), gender, and racial diversity of the school. Professional experience is also vital as this allows for effective contributions. Arne Valenzuela, Allen McGee, and Doug Miller have just rotated off the Board after serving the maximum term – we are appreciative of your service.
