Dear De La Salle Families:
Before summer is in full swing, we have one final Spartan Spotlight to share some noteworthy updates. In addition, please be mindful that there is still some work to complete before your son returns to campus in August. For instance, some students have reading assignments to complete, so be sure to check out the Summer Reading List. Also, be sure to review the 2026-27 Year at a Glance calendar, and the Back-to-School Checklist for the upcoming academic year will be fully updated by July 1st.
Next month, be on the lookout for an email in early July from President David Holquin, as well as one in late July from Vice Presidents, Heather Alumbaugh and Spencer Shively, as these will contain important information for the next school year.
Lastly, we want to extend our congratulations once again to the Class of 2026. If you haven't yet seen the photos from a couple of weeks ago, you can check them out on our Graduation webpage.
We hope that all of our families have a restful and relaxing summer break, and we look forward to seeing your son back on campus the week of August 12th.

ATHLETIC PHYSICALS MOVING TO HOME CAMPUS
|
|
|
Beginning with the 2026–2027 school year, De La Salle will use Home Campus for submitting athletics-related forms and pre-participation physicals. While some forms were previously included in online enrollment, Home Campus will now manage them separately for athletics participation. The system will provide parents with automatic reminders when physicals are nearing expiration and give coaches easier access to contact and emergency information. Freshmen and transfer students must still submit physicals through the online enrollment process and additionally through Home Campus if participating in athletics. Families with questions should contact Doug Bauman, De La Salle Head Athletic Trainer.

Recently, the baseball team won the NCS Division 1 title and plays Valley Christian in the semifinals of the CIF NorCal Championships at home today. The golf team won its sixth straight NCS Championship before placing first at the CIF NorCal Regionals and second at the CIF State Championships. Junior Drue Sanchez won the 2026 CIF Golf Individual State Championship, posting a 5-under par 66 at San Gabriel Country Club, becoming the first Spartan to win the individual state title. The track & field team won the EBAL Championship, the NCS Tri-Valley and Meet of Champions titles, then finished sixth at the CIF State Meet last weekend. The swimming & diving team won the NCS championships, before placing sixth at State.
