Second Annual Wolfpack Wellness Awards Celebrate NC State Wellness Initiatives

Students, faculty and staff from across campus gathered in Talley Student Union’s Coastal Ballroom last Thursday for the second annual Wolfpack Wellness Awards, hosted by Wellness and Recreation and University Human Resources, to celebrate the work of the Wellness Advisory Committee along with individuals and organizations across campus to promote wellness.

  • The Crafts Center’s Annual Pottery Sale is April 16 from 2-10 p.m.
  • University Theatre’s Workshop Series has several events this week.
  • Join the NC State Jazz Bands for their spring concert Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. in Stewart Theatre.
  • Join the Office of Undergraduate Research at the 2024 Spring Symposium on April 23 and 24. The OUR is seeking symposium volunteers; sign up using the survey on the symposium site.
  • NC State’s Wellness Champion Network, spearheaded by Wellness and Recreation and University Human Resources, engages employees across the state in well-being initiatives tailored to their needs. This program has received the inaugural 2024 Faculty/Staff Well-Being Program of the Year Award from the Butler University Institute for Well-Being.
  • Feed the Pack is looking for volunteers to help staff the pantry over the summer. Volunteers will help stock the pantry, check patrons out and prepare items for the week.
  • April is Alcohol and Other Drugs Awareness month, and several events and trainings are planned around campus.
  • WKNC’s Local Lunch Live, showcasing student performers, will run weekly on Wednesdays at noon through April 24 at The Corner on Centennial Campus. Bring your lunch or check out the food trucks.
