In recognition of an extraordinary $20 million gift, CSUN’s College of Engineering and Computer Science now proudly bears the name of Andrew J. Anagnost ’87, Hon.D. ’24. The renaming honors Anagnost’s deep Matador pride and lifelong connection to the university that shaped his career.

A new exhibition in CSUN’s Main Gallery takes visitors to L.A.’s lesser-known neighborhoods, revealing their beauty and diversity, while the West Gallery’s show focuses on San Fernando Valley-based arts organizations and their contributions to the area’s unique culture.

This session will offer strategies for using evaluation meetings as developmental, supportive spaces of learning and address the ways evaluations can be part of a host of equitable and inclusive workplace practices.

During the Open Enrollment period, employees may enroll in, change, or cancel health, dental, vision, FlexCash, Dependent Care Account (DCRA), Health Care Reimbursement (HCRA) or Voluntary Benefit Plans, or add or remove eligible dependents, for the coming year.

CSUN Funder is the official crowdfunding platform for CSUN. It’s designed to help students, faculty and staff raise money for an organization or project approved by a CSUN faculty group or academic department — from the Matador Motorsports race car to student film projects. TEMPO (The Epicenter Musical Performance Organization) enters its 17th season of celebrating contemporary music, with a special concert on Sept. 21. This dynamic ensemble of CSUN faculty, alumni and friends champions new voices through its annual Call for Scores, while honoring contemporary classics.

For the first time, The Soraya brings to Los Angeles two-time Latin Grammy-nominated, Chicago-based Mariachi Herencia de México, on Sept. 26. Joined onstage by Leonardo Aguilar, traditional mariachi songs blend with Aguilar’s original hits.

Thank you to the Homegrown Alumni group of incredible volunteers who came out Aug. 22 to help support the grand opening and ribbon cutting of the Autodesk Technology Engagement Center!
