As the nation marked the twentieth anniversary of the 9/11 tragedy, I spent no little time reflecting back upon that day and what it was like to be on our campus as this horror played out in real time.
CASL faculty, students and alumni are involved in a variety of classes, research, activities and philanthropy, and are making an impact locally, regionally and nationally.
Your gifts to the CASL Annual Fund make it possible for CASL students to participate in activities such as internships and research that enhance their education. Thank you! Your support is especially important for CASL students who could not otherwise afford to participate in unpaid internships and/or research. These experiences can be transformative for CASL students and also prepare them for success upon graduation.
For example, this past summer CASL undergraduate student Yahaira Vega participated in the Summer Undergraduate Research Experience (SURE) Program, and had a truly transformative experience. Learn more about Yahaira's research experience.
