Looking to level-up your Storytime and STEM programs? We are seeking 21 libraries in the Gulf Coast, and Great Lakes, and the Northeast regions of the United States to take part in STEM Tales – an exciting new project designed to engage children, ages 4-8, and their families in media read-alouds from thrilling places such as the International Space Station, mountains, forests, and the sea! Applications are due Monday, November 7. A Pre-Application Webinar will take place on Thursday, October 13th at 12:00 pm Mountain Time where you can learn all about the project and how to apply.
The STAR Library Network (STAR Net) is a hands-on learning network for libraries and their communities across the country. STAR Net focuses on helping library professionals build their STEM skills by providing “science-technology activities and resources” (STAR) and training to use those resources.
