May 2022
News on Iceland ProCruises, Iceland ProTravel, Hótel Ísland & Pax More Greece
Dear Colleague,
It’s already May? Where’s the year going? Spring is in full force, which means that summer is just around the corner! And our clients have some very exciting summer specials to offer.
Iceland ProCruises has extended its popular 20% discount to all cruises for the 2022 season. With the puffins returning to Iceland and the weather beginning to warm up, Iceland ProTravel is ready to welcome your clients on a self-drive tour or Reykjavik city break.
And, of course, it’s also the best time to visit Greece. Pax More Greece is gearing up for another great summer season. Emerging Destination's own Jane Behrend recently visited Athens, the Saronic Islands and the Peloponnese Peninsula and shares some of her adventures and recommendations in a blog below.
Last but not least, Ana is doing in-person sales calls and hosting some breakfasts, lunches and cocktail parties in NY, CT and RI on June 15th, 16th and 17th. If you're based in any of those beautiful Northeast states, please let me know and I'll be happy to connect you with Ana!
As always, if you have any questions or you'd like to catch up, book a virtual appointment with me here

  • New policy changes for vaccinations! We changed the definition of fully vaccinated from two shots and a booster shot, to just two shots of EMA approved vaccines. Guests will need to provide proof of vaccination issued by the competent health authority of the country of origin or by their medical provider who administered the vaccine. You can find more detailed information here

  • The European Best Destination Organization has included 4 breathtaking Greek beaches among “22 Most Beautiful Beaches in Europe for 2022”: Manolia Beach (Lichadonisia island), Elafonisi Island (Crete), Porto Katsiki (Lefkada island), Agios Konstantinos (Astypalaya island). The list was made based on the votes of international travelers. Let Pax More know if you want to be on one of the beautiful Greek beaches this summer and we will find the best one for you!
  • Athens and Boston are entering a sister-city partnership. Athens Mayor Kostas Bakoyanis said that twinning will strengthen economic ties with a positive impact on tourism. Among others, the agreement foresees joint actions to promote Athens as an ideal break destination for Bostonians. The initiative is off to a good start with 3 direct flights a week which connects two cities for the first time in 25 years!
