In partnership with Kaiser Permanente, the National Health Care for the Homeless Council is now accepting grant applications for unrestricted funding to 501(c)(3) organizations in hard-hit areas that are meeting the health needs of people without homes in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic. These unrestricted grants will generally range from $25,000-$50,000 and will be distributed no later than April 10.
Who Is Eligible?
Only non-governmental related entities—501(c)(3) organizations—meeting the health needs of people experiencing homelessness in Hawaii, Washington, Oregon, California, Colorado, Maryland, Virginia, Georgia, and the District of Columbia are eligible. Preference will be given to organizations receiving 330h funding and medical respite care programs.
How Does My Organization Apply?
You must submit your application through the Council's online form. Each organization may make only one application. Word limits will be strictly enforced.
All applications are due no later than 5 p.m. CT on Monday, March 30.
What Is the Timeline?
We will contact grant recipients on Wednesday, April 8, by email. Checks will go out immediately thereafter.
