We are thrilled to announce Caron’s own Alyson Ries is joining our extraordinary Alumni Relations team as its new Corporate Director of Alumni Relations.
For the past several years Aly has been part of our Recovery Support team in New York and Philadelphia, helping individuals and families as they navigate their early Recovery.
Prior to joining Caron, Aly worked in various roles at The Haven, a unique residential Recovery community for students enrolled at Drexel University as well as other nearby Colleges in the Philadelphia region. Most recently, Aly has been working as Caron’s Lead Recovery Support Specialist/Campus Engagement Specialist. Aly’s on the ground, Recovery work experience is complemented by a MSW from the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Social Policy and Practice and a BA in Psychology from Lehigh University.
As a proud women in Recovery, Aly understands the struggles, joys and gifts that come with Recovery, especially in the midst of a global pandemic. Her genuine and heartfelt grasp of the Caron mission, her collaborative approach, her warm and welcoming spirit and her ability to consistently put patients and family first have all endeared her to countless Caron alumni and families over the years. Together with our Alumni team, Aly is committed to deepening these relationships and to promoting further connectivity among Caron alumni in recovery communities throughout the country.
