July 3, 2024

The office will close at 2:00 pm today and will be closed tomorrow, July 4th.

Enjoy your holiday!

Two reasons to join us at church this Sunday!
Bring a breakfast/brunch dish to share and join us in the Garden multipurpose room during the Sunday School hour (9:30-10:30) for a come and go fellowship brunch this Sunday, July 7. This will be a great time to get to know some of your church family better.

Following our fellowship brunch, we will begin a new worship series at 10:45 focusing on the wisdom of the church. After a year long emphasis on the wisdom of scripture, we will have a month devoted to hearing the wisdom some of our church family has gleaned over the years in their own faith journey. Rev. Dawn Douglas Flowers will kick it off this Sunday followed by Branden Henry July 14, Shelley Powers July 21, and Bill Flynn July 28.
We hope this series inspires you to reflect on your own faith journey and what wisdom you have received and hope to pass on from your own experience as part of the body of Christ.
Rev. Haven Boyd was elected at the 2024 Mississippi Annual Conference as an alternate delegate for the 2024 Southeastern Jurisdictional Conference in Lake Junaluska, NC July 10-12. Congratulations Haven! For more information on the SEJ Conference, click here
The Flowers family will also be on vacation July 10-18. Rev. J.R. Hall has graciously agreed to be on call while both pastors are out in the event of a pastoral emergency. If you are in need of pastoral assistance, please call the church office and Linda will make sure the appropriate person is contacted and reaches out. Please leave a message if you do not get anyone in the office as Linda will be checking the phone messages outside of office hours.
