A Message from Iona University

Dear Iona University Community, 

Please save the date for Iona University's 82nd annual Undergraduate and Graduate Commencement Ceremony on Friday, May 15, 2026.

We look forward to celebrating this momentous occasion on Mazzella Field on Iona's New Rochelle campus with our graduates, loved ones and members of the Iona community. Congratulations to all of the graduates! We are so proud of your achievements.

The Honors Convocation will take place on Thursday, May 14 at 10 a.m. and the Baccalaureate Mass will take place on Thursday, May 14 at 4 p.m. Both events will be held in the Hynes Arena.

Please also note the Commencement Fair will be held on Tuesday, April 14, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in Mulcahy Gym. All graduates participating in Commencement will need to attend the Commencement Fair during the course of the day.

Important Deadlines & Updates: 

Degree candidate forms must be completed by the below dates in order to receive a physical copy of your diploma and ensure that you will be able to participate in the May 15 Commencement celebration.

When completing your degree candidate form, please make sure that your home address is updated so that your diploma is mailed to the correct place. Also be sure to check the correct spelling of your name as you want it to appear on the diploma and in the ceremony. 

Please check your email as well as the Commencement page regularly for updates! 

*Degree conferral occurs after you have completed all course and administrative requirements. All graduates will be recognized during Iona University's annual Commencement Ceremony on May 15, 2026.
