From the Administration

Dear Parents, Guardians, Students, and Friends of De La Salle,

Welcome to the new decade. We all hope your families experienced a restful, peaceful, and joyful Christmas break.
We are all furiously preparing for our students’ return next week on Monday, January 13th. Faculty and staff returned today to begin one of two professional days. Grades were stored on January 7th, so please make sure to check PowerSchool.

Dear Parents and Guardians,

As we start a new year, we have the opportunity to hit the “reset button” for how we can “live” this year. Saint John Baptist de La Salle has given us a wonderful gift to keep us focused, but we must make sure these are not idle words.
Let us Remember … That we are in the Holy Presence of God.

De La Salle Laps For Life Event on February 1

On Saturday, February 1, De La Salle will hold its annual Laps For Life event, which is a powerful, positive event focused on changing the conversation about teenage mental health. De La Salle's Laps For Life will begin at 9 a.m. in the Hofmann Student Center. We believe that with openness, love, and community support we can have the courage to talk about our struggles and loss and we can become healthier together.
Part resource fair and part walk/run fundraiser, De La Salle's Laps For Life has the dual purpose of promoting mental health and preventing teen suicide. This event was created in the wake of the heartbreaking suicide of De La Salle student, Tyler Bunn in 2011, and is dedicated to him.
Any support is greatly appreciated. All proceeds from this event support suicide research and mental health resources and treatment.

The Ladouceur Athletic Performance Center is a reality!

On October 6, 2019, De La Salle High School held a dedication ceremony announcing the opening of the Ladouceur Athletic Performance Center. Shortly after the dedication ceremony,
De La Salle students were able to enter the facility and start working out.
With the new facility, De La Salle students have a beautiful 5,000-square foot facility to call home. The facility will accommodate the school's physical education weight training classes and the Athletic Department’s strength and conditioning program.

For additional information on the project, photos and videos from the dedication ceremony, and links to a photo gallery of the construction process, visit The Perfect Effort webpage on the school website.

Although the facility is fully functional, there is still approximately $375,000 needed to finalize the funding for this project, and your continued support is greatly appreciated! If you would like to get involved, or would like to visit campus and take a tour of the facility, contact Mark Chiarucci, Vice President for Advancement, at
