Hall of Fame 2019

The David Eccles School of Business held its annual Hall of Fame induction ceremony on Thursday, June 6, 2019. This year’s award goes to David Neeleman of Azul and JetBlue airlines. He was joined by Clearlink CEO Phil Hansen, who received the Distinguished Entrepreneur Award, Lianna Kinard of Buckner Company who was named this year’s Rising Star, and Paul Beck, formerly of Procter & Gamble and Kalypso, who was honored with the Alumni Service award.

The Eccles School Hall of Fame recognizes individuals who have so distinguished themselves in their careers that their achievements are models for alumni, present students, and future students alike.

Goff Center Mentoring Opportunity

The Goff Strategic Leadership Center is hosting one-on-one summer mentoring sessions with one of the center’s Senior Mentors, Leo Hopf. Leo is a consultant, lecturer, and experienced Strategic Leader. Leo specializes in decision making and strategy and is committed to helping others build their leadership skills through the Goff Center’s 6 Principles of Strategic Leadership.

MRED 10th Anniversary

From LA to New York and many cities in between, the David Eccles School of Business Master of Real Estate Development (MRED) network continues to grow across the nation. Mostly concentrated in the Wasatch Valley, MRED graduates manage hundreds of millions of dollars in real estate developments, construction, and various investment funds for corporations large and small. They gathered last month to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of the program. Read more about the program's success here.

Eccles Alumni Forum

Learn more about artificial intelligence and real-world applications at our next Eccles Alumni Forum at 11:30 a.m. Our panelists include Dr. Dan Reed: Senior Vice President at the University of Utah, Bassam Salem: CEO of AtlasRTX, Glenn Colby: President at Invarius, and Keelan Johns: Senior Director of Engineering at Clearlink. SLC Monthly Meetup

Many of our alumni are located in the heart of Salt Lake City. These monthly meetups are a casual way to spend your lunch hour with other Utes.
