UO EVENTS
  • Pick out a handmade item at the Lonely Craft Sale as a last-minute gift for your valentine or for yourself. Visit the Craft Center in the EMU on Friday, Feb. 14, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  • Get cool T-shirts, prints, stickers, earrings, and 3D prints at the Art and Tech BFA Pop-Up Shop on Friday, Feb. 14, 11:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. in Lawrence Hall.
  • Flex your table tennis skills or join the Winter Smash Tournament just for fun on Sunday, Feb. 16, starting at 6:00 p.m. in 220 Gerlinger Hall. Entry fee is $5, pizza included.
  • Groove to the indie rock band Eggy at WOW Hall on Sunday, Feb. 16, at 8:00 p.m. Get tickets at the UO Ticket Office in the EMU: $21 in advance.
  • Watch Wicked for another movie night in the Redwood Auditorium (214 EMU) on Thursday, Feb. 20, with doors opening at 7:30 p.m. Free soda and popcorn provided.
  • RSVP for Masks Off: A Mardi Gras Celebration and enjoy music, food, and conversation with the UO community on Tuesday, Feb. 25, noon–1:30 p.m. in the EMU Ballroom.

TALKS AND WORKSHOPS
  • Activist Zyahna Bryant will present her expertise in building community, youth activism, and mutual aid tonight at 6 in the EMU Ballroom, with dinner included.
  • Join the panel discussion “Black Pasts/Black Futures: Lessons from Octavia E. Butler” at the Black Cultural Center (1870 East 15th Avenue) on Monday, Feb. 17, noon–1:30 p.m. Lunch will be provided.
  • Jenny Nguyen—founder of the world’s first sports bar showing only women’s sports—will be in the EMU Ballroom on Tuesday, Feb. 18, to give a presentation and Q&A. Be there at 5:00 p.m. for the dinner beforehand.
HEALTH AND WELLNESS
  • National Eating Disorder Awareness Week is for educating the public, raising awareness, and being supportive. Attend the panel discussion on Thursday, Feb. 27, 5:00 p.m. in 112 Lillis. Then sit in for the presentation on Friday, Feb. 28, 5:00 p.m. in 112 Lillis.
  • Come by the Anxiety Skills Lab for help navigating stress and anxiety on Tuesdays, 11:00 a.m.–noon. Check in at Counseling Services main lobby (1590 East 13th Avenue).
