You may have heard that it's your decision if, when, and why to fire an employee. The Employment-at-Will doctrine gives you that right. There are many exceptions to this rule, though, and understanding these limitations is an important cornerstone of using it to your advantage.

Many Miles saves and rehomes puppies and dogs locally and from kill states. They specialize in pit bulls but are not breed specific. The loving founder and volunteers give lots of love to the dogs and rely on donations of all kinds. This is one of Barb's chosen non-profits to support and it fits in well with the rest of us because the entire Kaya HR team are dog lovers!
