Pierce County Dairy Breakfast

June 15, 7:30 AM – 11:00 AM

Our breakfast consists of homemade pancakes, local maple syrup, Ellsworth deep-fried cheese curds, Culver's Custard, Kwik Trip milk, coffee and water. We will have activities for kids such as a petting zoo and kids can spin our Dairy Jeopardy wheel and play in a corn sandbox while adults can learn more about agriculture in Pierce County. Come ask questions at educational booths ranging from on-farm technology to sustainable practices in the field. Randy & Lori custom raise dairy heifers for area farmers so join us to learn about this partnership within the dairy industry!

The Bick Lab in the UW-Madison Department of Entomology, UW-Madison Extension, and Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP) are partnering to release timely insect emergence and trapping trends, based on DATCP trapping efforts to Wisconsin farmers, landowners, and crop consultants.

Winter wheat in Wisconsin continues to move through growth stages at record pace. We are about 10-14 days ahead on growth stages compared to this time in most years in Wisconsin. The warm spring and timely rain has pushed wheat very quickly.

This cancelation only affects the following products:

Engenia Herbicide®, manufactured by BAS
Xtendimax® With VaporGrip® Technology, made by Bayer CropScienc
Tavium® Plus VaporGrip® Technology, a Syngenta product

Other dicamba uses are not affected.
