We will discuss past and future veterans events, various initiatives in the Office of Student Veterans and student veteran organizations, and ways in which student veteran organizations can better engage with and serve the community. This meeting is open to all interested military-affiliated students. The Office of Student Veterans plans to hold the council meeting over Zoom during the week of October 24th. Student Veterans Social

The Office of Student Veterans is sponsoring a casual social engagement on 20 October 2022 from 1600-1800 at the Devil's Krafthouse. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet on campus for fellowship with other student veterans. Appetizers will be provided by the Office of Student Veterans. Drinks are available for purchase.

The Care of Souls, the Ethics of War, and the Wisdom of Sacred Communities

Join with other active duty members, veterans, and civilians interested in the morality and ethics of war, November 8-10, 2022. This conference will explore how chaplains can respond with wisdom and integrity to ethical questions that arise in their religious leadership role. We will engage in honest conversation about responding to moral injury, connecting the roles of religious leadership and religious advisement, and understanding the relationship of the care of souls and the ethics of war.
Active Duty soldiers, sailors, airmen, marines, veterans, and civilians interested in the morality of war are encouraged to attend!
