December Volunteering
Good times, good cheer, it's time to volunteer!
Season's Greeting, Volunteers!

December is here and instead of settling down for a long winter's nap, we're excited to get out there and make the rest of 2018 magical. We have opportunities with FoodLink in the community and at the Somerville Winter Farmers Market.

As always, to sign up for a volunteer shift this month and receive a month of free Garbage to Garden service, RSVP by email, and we will help answer any questions you may have. Remember, events are first come, first serve.

Happy Composting!
The Garbage to Garden Team

Volunteer with Food Link!

Food Link is looking for volunteers to help on a regular basis with the collection and distribution of donated food. Volunteers generally work in groups to collect food from grocery stores and bakeries, sort the food and then deliver it to social services agencies in the area.
Volunteer with us @ the Farmers' Market!
Somerville Winter Farmers Market
191 Highland Ave
Center for the Arts at the Armory
Volunteer shifts 9am-11:30am, 12:00pm-2:30pm

We are looking for volunteers to help us set up, breakdown, sort compost & recycling and spread the word about curbside composting.

Volunteers will be responsible for meeting a GtG staff member at the market and help set up equipment for tabling or composting and recycling, monitoring compost/recycling stations, and speaking with other community members about our service.
