NSC PILOT AWARD CALLS FOR APPLICATIONS

Letters of Intent Due April 15, 2022
The University of Southern California and Buck Institute Nathan Shock Center is accepting applications for Pilot Research Projects and Vouchers for Core Services in the biology of aging. Core Vouchers are available for a single assay/technology service Pilot Projects extend larger support and typically utilize multiple assays or core services. Mini-sabbaticals provide opportunities to visit in-person and learn technologies hands-on and establish collaborations with faculty experts. View grant details here.
Rolling deadline
The University of Washington Nathan Shock Center and Healthy Aging and Longevity Research Institute are soliciting applications to support pilot projects in the biology of aging. The projects should utilize the specific services provided by one or more of the UW Nathan Shock Center Cores. The awards are generally up to $10,000, depending on the specific needs of the applicant. View the RFA here.
Rolling deadline
Proposed projects must be collaborative, in that costs of studies that would be performed in the applicant's lab must be borne by the applicant, but costs associated with any part of the study that is performed at the Shock Center, including for example tissue procurement, processing, and shipping, will be borne by the Shock Center.
