Astro Overview 2016
. . . Political change foments this spring as the two planets of social context, Jupiter and Saturn, form a potential-filled trine to the outer planets. Look for changes in both the liberal and conservative parties, but expect them to continue to square off with one another through the first half of the year, exacerbated by solar and lunar eclipses in March. Members of the old guard step down; be ready to support good new people coming in.
All spring, Saturn trines Uranus, calling for change in the workplace, and inspiring intriguing new energy-efficient ways of building. Our personal rituals may need to be streamlined and revamped to bring us closer to nature and adapt to life’s realities. . .
The lunar eye of heaven is seen each day in the phases of the Moon as she is both reflector and shadow, traveling her 29 1/2-day path around the Earth in a “Moon” Month (from each new moon to the next, 13 times in a lunar year). Because Earth is orbiting the Sun at the same time, it takes the Moon 27 1/3 days to go through all the signs of the Zodiac—a sidereal month.
. . . Tuesday, March 8: On this thoughtful, sweet, low energy morning, we may feel as peeled as a poached egg. It is important day to stay grounded, aware of our surroundings as we walk down the street. Entrench in sanity, because otherwise we could feel vulnerable and with one screw loose; some people’s psyches will fray. Take a moment to connect in a tender and real place. If people or things leave, look for what is now coming in. . .

excerpt by Heather Roan Robbins Pisces by day: We grow sensitive, permeable, empathic, and imaginative; let’s be gentle with one another. Tears flow easily. Our energy level varies; we can swim in spirit, bathe in dreams, paint the night away, or just take a good long soak. Those Born Under a Pisces Moon feel everything. With a flexible but durable soul, they need a safe way to be sensitive—sensitive to beauty, joy, health, understanding, compassion, and visions. They may need to build their physical strength and practicality to use these fine-tuned sensibilities easily.
Solar and Lunar Eclipses occur only when the Earth, Sun and Moon align at the Moon’s nodal axis, usually four times a year, during New Moon and Full Moon, respectively. The South (past) and North (future) Nodes symbolize our greater evolutionary path. Eclipses catalyze our destiny’s deeper calling. Use eclipse degrees in your birth chart to identify potential release points.
March 8th: Total Solar Eclipse occurs at 18° Pisces. For reflection as the Sun dims: Question not who is the Self, for it is we who have woven this web between us, and ours is the community of the soul.
Venus: relationship, love, sense of beauty, empathy
Venus is our recognition of love, art and beauty. Venus is harmony in its expressed form, as well as compassion, bliss and acceptance.
Spring Forward — Remember to set your clocks ahead one hour — 2am Sunday morning.
