Beginning May 26, 2025, we will be implementing a 4% tariff surcharge on our finished stock lenses.

This change comes in response to ongoing shifts in the global trade environment including persistent inflation, rising manufacturing costs, and evolving tariffs—all of which have placed added pressure on supply chains.

Invoices that you access when logged into your account will show a tariff surcharge line that covers in aggregate all impacted products on that invoice. This tariff surcharge line will be at the bottom of the invoice:

Shipping documents that are packed inside the box in shipments to your office will have the 4% surcharge rolled into each line-item price:

In our effort to provide transparency and flexibility of our surcharge implementation, we expect to standardize formatting across documents within 60 days.

Private pay lenses placed through your private pay cart will be subject to this surcharge. Lenses ordered for verified EyeMed IOF patients (subject to audit) are exempt, but must be ordered through your EyeMed cart to receive their exemption.

Yes! For your convenience, updated price lists are now available reflecting the 4% surcharge. Please reach out to your Nassau OOGP sales representative, our customer service team, or access your alliance or buying group portal for a copy.

We continue to follow the global trade situation closely and will make adjustments to the 4% surcharge as needed. You can count on us to be transparent in our communications with you and to stay close as things evolve.
