Launching "Tu comienzo en TWU": Spanish Employee New Orientation Initiative |
We are thrilled to announce that beginning August 12, Human Resources will offer our employee orientation program in Spanish. "Tu comienzo en TWU" (Your Beginning in TWU) is a half-day orientation designed to support and retain our workforce, helping our Spanish speaking staff integrate successfully into the TWU community from day one.
In alignment with Texas Woman’s University’s mission to foster a sense of belonging and empower members of our community, this initiative expands our institutional capacity to provide accessible information and comprehensive professional development. By centering collaborative growth, TWU continues to strengthen its culture of excellence and employee retention.
For more information about this new orientation format, please contact Sherami Conesa-Maiz in Human Resources at sconesamaiz@twu.edu

On My Own Time™ (OMOT) Competition |
As a reminder, TWU faculty and staff are invited to showcase their creativity beyond the workplace through participation in the On My Own Time™ (OMOT) competition. Inspired by our 'Dream Big' campaign, our theme for this year’s competition is Dream Big. All visual and literary submissions should reflect your personal interpretation of what it means to 'dream big.
