Four YWCC Data Science Faculty Present at Prestigious NeurlPS 2025

Yingcong Li, Thanh Nguyen-Tang, Lingxiao Wang and Shuai Zhang had the honor of presenting their research papers at the 2025 Conference and Workshop on Neural Information Processing Systems (NeurlPS), one of three primary conferences of high impact in machine learning and artificial intelligence research.

Second-Year Ph.D. Student Presents at AAAI 2026

Congratulations to Professor Grace Wang's second-year Ph.D. student Jiayi Chen for presenting his research paper, "MARS: A Meta-Adaptive Reinforcement Learning Framework for Risk-Aware Multi-Agent Portfolio Management," at AAAI 2026, the 40th Annual AAAI Conference on Artificial Intelligence. Prof. Wang also published two papers at the conference, including a joint work with Associate Professor Jing Li.

Fadi Deek and Yehoshua Perl are co-authors on "Fine-Tuning LLaMA2 for Summarizing Discharge Notes: Evaluating the Role of Highlighted Information," which was published in BDCC as part of the  Special Issue: Advances in Large Language Models for Biological and Medical Applications.

NJIT is part of a landmark partnership between the State of New Jersey and NVIDIA AI. Gov. Phil Murphy signed the historic agreement during his final press conference, which establishes a statewide AI supercomputer and secures New Jersey's position as a global hub for technological innovation. NJIT Students and faculty will have unprecedented access to NVIDIA's state-of-the-art generative AI resources, giving the Garden State an edge in accelerating breakthroughs that will extend far beyond its borders.
