Class of 2020 celebrates Commencement, two years later 

Two years after the pandemic forced their Commencement to be held online, the Class of 2020 returned to Notre Dame for an in-person ceremony held over Memorial Day weekend.

Christophersen and Griffith appointed to VP positions

Two campus leaders will take on new leadership roles at the University as vice presidents, effective July 1, in appointments made by Executive Vice President Shannon Cullinan. Heather Christophersen will serve as vice president for human resources and Anne Griffith has been named vice president for University Enterprises and Events.

$20 million gift endows Institute for Precision Health

Douglas and Diana Berthiaume of Andover, Massachusetts, have made a $20 million gift to the University to endow the newly established Berthiaume Institute for Precision Health. Through research the institute seeks to prevent and treat disease, promote wellness and reduce health disparities, especially among underserved populations.

Musculoskeletal disorders can develop when using the same muscles, tendons and ligaments to perform frequent tasks. Schedule an expert to evaluate work environments. Take a quiz to receive a weekly prize. All entries will be entered in the grand prize drawing for a $100 gift card.

Traffic 

Campus road closures for Sunburst

The Sunburst Races will take place the morning of Saturday, June 4. The races begin at Four Winds Field in South Bend and end on the 50-yard line at Notre Dame Stadium. There will be road closures near and on campus from 7 a.m. to noon.

Construction

Main Gate and bookstore parking lot construction

The main entrance to campus, at Holy Cross Drive and Notre Dame Avenue, will be closed, beginning Monday, June 6, so a new campus entrance can be constructed over the summer. The bookstore parking lot will also be improved this summer and the current basketball courts, west of the bookstore, will become a parking lot for faculty and staff.
