Feeling a little worn out from the semester?  Hoping to create some better rhythms?  Mental wellbeing in graduate school is both challenging and crucial. Join our panel who will share insights and answer questions on how to navigate mental wellbeing and practice taking care of yourself while in graduate school. Featuring speakers from School Psychology and the Counseling Center.  No registration required.

After much consideration and feedback, Baylor has adjusted the December payroll date for monthly paid employees to the last weekday of the month. This adjustment will avoid a potential 6-week pay gap for monthly paid faculty and staff and provide a more consistent payroll experience. This adjustment will be effective in December 2024. Baylor in Washington will host a virtual panel on the problem of “hyper-politicization.” Panelists will explain this problem from social, psychological and theological perspectives while offering concrete strategies for “desaturation.” Panelists will include political philosopher Robert Talisse, Ph.D., psychiatrist and author Curt Thompson, M.D., and theology-trained leadership coach, Elizabeth Oldfield. Christian Scholars Forum is an interdisciplinary group for Baylor graduate students and young faculty. We host biweekly lunch meetings to discuss books/articles exploring the implications of researching and teaching as Christians. The Graduate Research Showcase is an opportunity for you to share your research with other graduate students across campus! Fill out this form to sign-up to contribute a poster to the showcase. Research posters will be judged by faculty and a winner will be chosen from the categories of STEM, Social Sciences, and Humanities. Winners will receive a prize of $100! Â Coffee and donuts will be provided. Â All current graduate students are eligible to participate. Spaces are limited, so sign up soon.
