University Theatre’s Workshop Series Connects Students, Community to Theatre Production

Launched in the fall semester of 2023, University Theatre’s free workshop series offers opportunities for NC State faculty, staff, students and the local community to learn about different theater topics.

- Workplaces and student organizations focused on infusing holistic well-being practices into their college, department, unit or group can earn recognition for their efforts by applying for the Well Wolfpack Certification. Applications are open now through March 18 at 5 p.m.
- Wellness and Recreation partnered with the North Carolina Zoo on Wellness Day.
- Wellness and Recreation offers free yoga for students, faculty and staff.
- On Wednesday, Feb. 28 from 12-1 p.m., Lesley-Ann Noel, an assistant professor of media arts, design and technology will serve as the key note speaker for Staff Senate’s Learn at Lunch Wellness Webinar, “Design Social Change.”
- The Staff Senate Community Service and Engagement Committee is sponsoring a book drive to benefit the Prison Books Collective (PBC) running through March 28.
- Three exhibitions are open at the Gregg Museum of Art & Design: “Leading by Design,” “Selections from the Collections” and “The Art of John Mark Hall.”
- The Department of Performing Arts and Technology offers a free dance master class to NC State faculty, staff and students.
- Registration is now open for Summer Music Camps for high school students, operated by the Department of Performing Arts and Technology. See the details for day camps in music technology, music production and drum major leadership.
- This year, 33 midshipmen from the NC State Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps participated in Tulane’s Mardi Gras Drill Meet. Out of 31 universities, the Wolfpack NROTC battalion finished sixth.

- April 5 is the deadline for all technology purchases.
