Special Board Meeting Set for Dec. 1
The RVR Master Association Board has called a Special Meeting for Wednesday, Dec. 1. The meeting will be held in the Ranch House upstairs Board room, and on Zoom. The Special Board Meeting has only one agenda item: to approve the proposed 2022 budget. The meeting follows several weeks of dialog with the community, as the Board reconsiders its originally proposed budget. This weekend, homeowners will receive formal notice of the Special Meeting, along with a link to the final proposed budget that the Board will vote on at the December 1 meeting.

Infectious Disease Control & Environmental Hazard Mitigation Policy
On October 27, 2021, the RVRMA Executive Board of Directors approved the “Infectious Disease Control and Environmental Hazard Mitigation Policy.” The purpose of this policy is to protect and promote the health, safety, and well-being of the River Valley Ranch community. The policy covers infectious diseases and other environmental hazards, including COVID-19.
The policy applies to all of the RVRMA common areas, facilities and RVRMA sponsored events at other locations, such as The Old Thompson Barn, across from the Ranch House. The policy also applies to the entire RVR community, including members and their guests, employees, vendors, and other persons who use the covered facilities or attend any covered event. Click here to view the Policy.
All individuals 5 years or older will need to show proof of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to enter the Ranch House without a mask. Ages 2+ who are not vaccinated will be required to wear a mask inside the Ranch House. If you cannot show proof of immunization, you will be required to wear a mask. Acceptable forms of proof are:
• Vaccine certificate • Digital pass via a smartphone application • Printout of COVID-19 vaccination record • Digital photo of vaccination card or record
When you show proof of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19, we will ask you to sign an Acknowledgment, Consent, and Release – Medical Information form. This form is available on our website where you can submit it electronically. Click here to fill out the form online. The form will also be available at the front desk. If you sign the consent form, you’ll never have to show proof of vaccination again. If you do not sign the consent form, you will need to show your proof of vaccination every time you enter the Ranch House or wear a mask.
We ask for your patience at the Front Desk as we implement this procedure.

Important Rental Information!
Renting out your home? Here are some important things to remember:
- If you are currently renting out your home or thinking about it, here’s a reminder: All rentals and leases within RVR must register with the Ranch House. This applies to long-term leases as well as short-term rentals.
- Anytime you rent out your home, whether transferring your membership or not, you must have a lease on file at the Ranch House.
- Per the RVR Master Declaration, a lease must be of an entire 'unit,' whether it is an ADU, caretaker unit, half of a duplex, or single family dwelling. Leasing of just a bedroom is NOT permitted.
- Use of your home is limited to single-family occupancy, so your tenants must fall within the definition of a family laid out in the Master Declaration.
And if you do rent or lease your home, you are responsible for the behavior of your tenant. That means you need to make sure anyone staying in your home is aware of our rules regarding parking, trash, noise and other issues designed to keep our community problem-free.
If you have any questions, email csm@rvrcommunity.com. You can also access the RVRMA governing documents on the RVRMA website by clicking here.

New text messaging system!
When there’s an emergency in the community – like power outages, road closures, or even a mountain lion sighting – the news is immediate.
That’s why we’re using a simple emergency alert system based on text messages.
Take a moment to enroll in our NEW text messaging system. We’ll use this system to send out everything from “bear in the neighborhood” to event information.
Scan the QR code above or text rvr to 866-665-0723.
Please note, this messaging system is one-way. Do not reply to the texts you receive, we will not see them.

Practice Good Fitness Etiquette
Please remember to practice good fitness etiquette when visiting the Ranch House gym. Do not drop your weights, be sure to re-rack your weights, keep the TV volume at a minimal level, dress appropriately while always wearing shoes and a shirt, and don't forget to sanitize equipment after use. Additionally, when using the weight room, please refrain from talking on your cell phone. It is a distraction to those around you and could be unsafe. If you need to take a call, please do so in the hallway!

UPDATE Fitness Cancellation Policy
On Monday, Nov. 8, a new group fitness cancellation policy went into effect.
In response to member and staff feedback, we are adjusting this policy. Instead of having registration privileges suspended for a no show or late cancellation, your account will be charged a $15 late cancellation fee. Please cancel at least 12 hours in advance by either calling the front desk or cancelling online. This will give your neighbors that greatest opportunity to attend if you’re unable.
