Sure COVID-19 has robbed us of our beloved Cup Match Cricket Classic, but there are still plenty of ways to celebrate our island's unique history and culture.
For generations, Bermudians have been coming together to share in the culture of Cup Match. Since 1902, Cup Match has been the cause of much feteing, celebration and traditional customs.
According to veteran Cup Match food vendor and St. David’s Islander, Dolly Pitcher, “People go to Cup Match for four reasons – the food, Crown & Anchor, drinking and (after a long pause) the cricket.”
