Every four years, Young Life staff, spouses and board members from all over the world converge in one place to worship, pray, learn and celebrate the joy of what God has done across the mission. This year over 7000 were in attendance.

The Global Young Lives team took the opportunity to be together in person for the first time and what a joy it was to hug those faces we see over device screens. What a joy to be reminded of what God is doing through the hands and feet of our brothers and sisters in Christ around the world.

What a joy to be reminded of why we do what we do. For Christ's love compels us and we get the privilege to spur each other on in the work we are called to.  The work of leading pregnant and parenting adolescents to the foot of the cross and helping them grow in life, faith and leadership like Alexis and Andy.

This was one of the most moving moments at 1YL.

3 Ways To Support Young Lives This Year

1. Come and See Camp

Adults can attend camp as childcare volunteers or adult guests. Whether you prefer a luxury lodge or holding babies is your thing, there is a place for you to come and see camp.

2. Give A Financial Gift

It costs on average $2500 for one teen parent to be involved in Young Lives. In every ministry, there is a staff person who recruits and trains volunteers to be mentors for teen parents as well as childcare for the babies of those parents.  Give Now to help reach 100 more teen parents this year.

3. Donate a Camp Childcare Scholarship

Every year, we need at least 500 childcare volunteers. Some volunteers are willing but unable to afford to take a week off of work to serve.  That's where you come in! You can send a volunteer to camp for $700 so a teen parent can have the best week of her life.
