HAVE YOU....???!!!!

  • Checked the list at the front desk to make sure your student's name is spelled correctly? Deadline to check names is 4/12. All students are listed in program and on the recital tee! Please double check spelling for correct listings.

  • Filled out the Milestone Awards spreadsheet if your student is to receive a 5, 8, 10 year or Longevity Award? Awards will be presented in the 5pm show on June 2nd. Please click this link to enter information.

  • Ordered your recital goodies? Please fill out the form to purchase flowers, recital program ads, t-shirts and new this year....a participation trophy! Once you have your total, click to pay full amount. You must pay when you order and the deadline is 4/30. Click here for recital memories order form.

  • Ordered tights for recital? Remember we require specific colors and brand for recital (Suffolk Light Tan and LIght Pink)!.SUFFOLK Dance Boutique will be at Footlights Dance Studio, Monday 5/14 and Thursday 5/17 from 5PM-7PM on both days for tights purchase! 

  • Marked your calendar for Parent Participation Week? Yes, PARTICIPATION week! You take class with your student! Join us the week of May 7th during your student's regularly scheduled class time.

  • Registered for summer classes and camps? It's important to keep training even in summer months! For more information on classes, click here. Register under enrollment tab and choose Summer Session I or Summer Session II in the drop down menu to register for classes.

all rehearsals are at Lewisville High School, Stuver Auditorium. Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to rehearsal start time, we will run through each show in order of the recital.

Picture week will be April 23rd - 26th DURING YOUR REGULAR CLASS TIME! Saturday and morning classes will be emailed separately for scheduled day and time for photos. Please come in costume, dressed and ready for class and individual photos. If you are in a combo class, your class and individual pictures will be in your ballet costume. Picture forms are available here, please print and bring with you to picture day! If you are paying by check, please make your check out to A Cut Above the Rest, 10% of the proceeds will be donated to the Footlights Dance Studio Scholarship Fund. **if you were a late add to class or are waiting on a size exchange for your costume, please see us for class picture solution!
There will be an additional opportunity for individual photos to be taken in an outdoor setting. Deb Annick Photography will release dates and pricing soon. Watch for more details!


A Cut Above the Rest will handle both our costume photos and recital day DVD's and action shots. DVD and action shots form here, payment made directly to A Cut Above the Rest. They will be donating 10% of proceeds back to the studio scholarship fund. They will be onsite for orders on recital day, but you receive a discounted rate by ordering ahead of time.


Ballet exams will be held Saturday, April 28th from 930a-1230pm. Reviews will be handed out in class in mid-April. All students ages 8 and up may participate and awards for high scores will be given during the 5pm show on June 2, 2018 at Stuver Auditorium.
