New Symplectic Elements system establishes centralized research hub in Wildcat Scholar |
One of Wildcat Scholar's core components, Symplectic Elements, is now live. The system brings all next-gen land-grant work happening across campus into a connected, organized system ready for sharing.
While Dimensions focuses on global research, Symplectic Elements provides a single home for K-State-specific scholarship, enabling faculty and staff to share their work and impact with ease. Centralizing all land-grant work at K-State into a single, interconnected platform for sharing and reporting, Symplectic Elements will serve as the backbone of Wildcat Scholar.
Wildcat Scholar training sessions are available throughout the month of May via Zoom. Join a session or learn more.

TIGAR Exploratory Topic informational webinar |
Unlock new possibilities in biopreservation. What if we could reliably store organs and other complex tissues far beyond a few hours or days? Join us on May 20 for an informational webinar on ARPA-H's new Technology InteGrator and AcceleratoR (TIGAR) Exploratory Topic.
The TIGAR Exploratory Topic (ET) is an ARPA-H initiative to accelerate research and overcome the current barriers to preserving complex human tissues. TIGAR aims to rapidly evaluate early-stage, high-risk preservation technologies and explore what is possible to stabilize tissues across different temperature ranges, store them for longer periods, and rapidly restore them to a functional state after storage.
