EHLS Scholarship Program for Native Speakers of Critical Languages- Deadline: July 6. Native speakers of critical languages are in high demand in the US government. EHLS trains candidates to be effective communicators and strong candidates for federal jobs. All EHLS participants receive a full scholarship from the National Security Education Program that includes tuition and a living stipend. Applicants must be US Citizens who are native speakers of Arabic, Azerbaijani, Balochi, Bambara, Dari, Hausa, Hindi, Kazakh, Korean, Kurdish, Kyrgyz, Mandarin Chinese, Pashto, Persian Farsi, Punjabi, Russian, Somali, Tajik, Tamashek, Thai, Turkish, Urdu, Uzbek, or Vietnamese with English language skills at level 2 or higher on the ILR scale. Recipients must agree to fulfill a one-year service commitment with the US government.

APPAM Equity & Inclusion Fellowship Program for Undergraduates- Deadline: July 7. The Association for Public Policy Analysis & Management seeks to introduce the field of public policy to undergraduates who might not otherwise be familiar with it. Fellows receive a complimentary APPAM membership, complimentary registration for the 2023 APPAM Fall Research Conference in Atlanta, a scholarship to offset the costs of transportation and meals, two nights' accommodation, and professional development/mentoring opportunities.

PPIA Public Service Weekend: Emerging Public Policy Issues in Texas & the American South
A FREE Conference for the Next Generation of Public Policy Changemakers. Throughout the conference weekend, participants will focus on the evolving landscape of civil rights, civic engagement, immigration, bipartisanship, education, and LGBTQIA+ policy issues across Texas and the Southern United States. Participants receive a $500 travel stipend and room and board during the conference. Learn more.
