Come get to know Tezzi!
We are so excited to have Anne Marie join our staff as Minister for Youth and Outreach Ministries but we are also excited to welcome Cortez and little Tezzi. We invite all of our PHUMC kids to come meet and play with Tezzi tomorrow, Thursday, July 16 from 4 to 6 pm at the pool at the Club at Township. Parents must stay. Sign in at the front desk when you arrive. Light snacks will be provided. Hope to see you there!

| Beds for Kids
Sixteen workers built 27 beds in 2 1/2 hours yesterday in our Parkway Hills woodshop/basement!

One of our core values at Parkway Hills is "celebrate," because we believe in a God of joy who delights in all that God has made and calls us to share life together. One of the ways we make connections is around the table. We hope you join us Wednesday, July 22 at 6:00 pm for a Fried Chicken potluck. The church will provide the fried chicken and drinks. You bring the sides and desserts. See you there, and reach out and invite a friend to join us!

| Sunday Morning Summer Fun
During the summer months our PHUMC kids, preK-3 through rising 5th, are meeting together in the Garden Room at 9:30 for a time of faith development and fun. Throughout July, they will discover ways to use their own voices to share about Jesus as they look at characters found in the Book of Acts. We’ve got some fun themes for each Sunday to go alongside these stories, so check out our game plan and come learn and grow this summer with your PHUMC friends..

Friday, July 31- Saturday, August 1: Confirmation Retreat at Camp Wesley Pines. One of our first events with our confirmands is a retreat all about the Bible, what the Bible is, what it is not, and how we read and understand certain areas of the Bible. Cost is $45. Hello, Parkway Hills UMC! I'm Anne Marie Daniel, and I'm so excited to be your new Youth Minister. I've served in youth ministry for six years, have a degree in Religion with a minor in Music, and I'm a candidate for ordained ministry as I begin seminary. My husband, Cortez, our two-year-old son, Tezzi, and I are thrilled to be part of the Parkway Hills family, and we're eagerly awaiting the arrival of our daughter, Azalea, in just a few weeks! It has already been so much fun getting to know our youth and families, and I can't wait for all that's ahead.
Geyser Falls – Friday, July 24
Payment is due by noon on Monday, July 20. We'll meet at the church at 10:15 a.m. for a fun day together. (I'll be enjoying the lazy river with only five weeks until baby girl arrives!)
Christmas in July – Sunday, July 26 | 5:30–7:30 p.m.
Come celebrate with us! Graduating seniors, come sign your mosaic ceiling tile and share your favorite youth ministry memories. Bring a snack to share.
