Throughout the semester, President Alger is engaging in an active listening tour to learn more about the AU community by asking questions and soliciting feedback as he develops his vision for the university’s future.

📋It's an election year! Did you know students can vote by absentee ballot?  The process differs by state (e.g., some states require that students complete a form in person before they leave for school). Library staff works to ensure students know about the processes and can assist them.

Claudia Gordon, a 2000 graduate of American University Washington College of Law (AUWCL), proudly represented the United States as part of President Joe Biden’s official delegation to the Opening Ceremony of the 2024 Paris Paralympic Games. 

SIS faculty and PhD students presented academic papers at the American Political Science Association 2024 Conference in Philadelphia.

Nine residents began participating in the special Master of Arts in Teaching program that’s similar to a medical-doctor residency program.
