Sneak Peek into the Poverty Simulation Project - Belhaven University
Belhaven University's Poverty Simulation will give both youth and adults a glimpse into what it might be like to live in a typical low-income family trying to survive from week to week.  Following the simulation, a discussion led by faculty and students from Belhaven will allow us to reflect on the experience to gain further understanding and insight. Watch the video above for a sneak peek of the program. Youth and adults from Galloway, Anderson and Bolton UMC have been invited to join us for this evening, and ALL are invited to remain for dinner after the program.

It is not too late to join this enthusiastic group of men for good food, outdoor activities, camaraderie and shenanigans. (There will be some Bible study, too.)  Bring your $75 to the Church Office TONIGHT.  Those interested in a caravan should meet in the church parking lot at 9:00 am this Saturday the 11th, all others are welcome to meet us at Camp Wesley Pines anytime Saturday morning.

Our 24-member Youth Mission Team is cooking up a Chili Lunch Fundraiser to help them pay for their trip to Strong Missions in Costa Rica.  We can't wait to see how God will work in them and through them on this trip.  Plan to pick up a to-go lunch after either worship service this Sunday, February 12th.
A $10 ticket is available from any team member. Thanks for your support!
