The goal of Parkway Hills' women's ministry is to create community and to serve our community, and we want to hear your ideas about how best we can live into this goal. Join us at Newk's to fellowship, dream, and plan together. Can't make the meeting but have something you would like to see be a part of this ministry, email Pastor Dawn.

It is almost book club time again!  As our Wednesday nights continue, it's time to pick up the book (you can order it on Amazon) and start reading this fascinating book we will use toward the end of our Wednesday night gatherings for our book club. Following a recommendation, we have chosen to read The Spirit of Justice: True Stories of Faith, Race, and Resistance, by Jemar Tisby. We will meet Wednesday, October 23 following our 5:45 meal to discuss, and the author will join us via Zoom!

Sunday, September 8, we had the chance to learn more about the impact of our September communion offering. Founder/Director Fred Curry, Director of Children’s Ministries Gabriela Arias, Chief Administrator and chef, Ros Rivera Arias, and worship leader, Johnny Mendoza  joined us in worship and shared about the mission and ministry of Rice and Beans. Rice and Beans Ministry is dedicated to bringing hope and joy to children living in poverty in Costa Rica, Brazil, and the United States by feeding families, providing safe housing through construction projects, and aiding in education by providing uniforms and school supplies. We have collected $1,484.00 to date, but you can give to support this ministry all month online, via our Vanco Mobile app, or in the offering basket throughout September. Visit rabmin.org for more info.
