Through our CATCH Promise initiative, we're offering to help these 90 "priority" school districts (and others with a similar need) overcome funding or logistical obstacles to bring the Whole School, Whole Community, Whole Child (WSCC) model to their schools! Last year, we helped bring over $430,000 in community health grants to CATCH Promise districts across the country – and we're just getting started!

Ysleta ISD Celebrating their Success with CATCH

In our last newsletter, we highlighted some impressive results from Yselta ISD, including students getting almost twice as much moderate-to-vigorous physical activity (MVPA) during their P.E. classes. The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center created and developed Ray and the Sunbeatables®: A Sun Safety Curriculum to make sun safety a fun and engaging experience for children. Almost three months in and Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM) in Santiago, Dominican Republic have made great progress implementing CATCH! We had the pleasure to see some of their great work while visiting several schools this March.
