Proposed Changes to Open Space RulesThe Ken-Caryl Ranch Master Association and Metropolitan District Open Space and Parks Use Rules were revised at the KCRMA Open Space Committee Meeting on April 24. Staff and the KCRMA Open Space Committee removed old language and added new language to better clarify several rules, including use of open space, authorized activities after dark, mowing adjacent to open space, camping, and e-bike use. The Master Association and Metropolitan District Boards will vote on the proposed changes at their respective meetings on May 21 at 6 p.m. at the Ranch House. Recycling Event a Huge Success!
Thank you to everyone who came out to Saturday's Community Recycling and Cleanup Event! This event is paid for and organized by the Master Association, and Eva Stadelmaier with Re/Max sponsors the paper shredding. Huge thanks to our partners Waste Connections, Techno+Rescue, GreenSheenPaint, and Coloradoland Tire and Service. A big shout out to the Ken-Caryl Ranch Parks Department for running the chipper all day. Thank you to the deputy sheriffs and volunteers for directing traffic!

Open Space Management Plan Changes
There are proposed changes to the Open Space Management Plan for the landscape rules violations, cultural resources and paleontology, and maintenance procedures sections. The Master Association and Metropolitan District Boards will vote on the proposed changes at their respective meetings on May 21 at 6 p.m. at the Ranch House. Community Garage Sale June 7-8The Ken-Caryl Community Garage Sale will be held Friday and Saturday, June 7-8 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Join neighbors across the community by hosting your own garage sale. New this year: Please register to appear on our Community Garage Sale Map. Realtor Brian Lee is offering FREE Garage Sale Survival Kits that include items like markers, price stickers, snacks, etc. If you would like to receive a kit, contact Brian at BSLee58@msn.com or 303-618-6888. Garage Sale signs are available for purchase at the Ranch House front desk for a special price of $3 until June 7.

Pickleball LessonsDates: Thursdays, June 6-27

Youth 12-14 Years of Age: Thursdays 9-10 a.m.
Pickleball is played on a badminton-size court using a paddle slightly larger than a ping-pong paddle with many similarities to tennis. Want to try it out? Sign up for lessons!

Wildfire Hazard Mitigation Plan UpdateUpdates to the Ken-Caryl Ranch Wildfire Hazard Mitigation Plan were prepared by the Colorado State Forest Service with input from Open Space Staff, the Firewise Committee, and West Metro Fire. The Master Association Board will review and vote on the proposed changes at its May 21 meeting at 6 p.m. at the Ranch House. The revised plan is available at the link below.
