Dear Partner in Ministry,

As Karl Mattison reminded us during the Minute for PNC in March, a "family meeting" is a place to discuss the most important decisions. GPC is calling our own family meeting in the form of GPC Gathers. Join the GPC community on Saturday, May 9 from 9:00AM to 2:30PM at National Presbyterian Church as we pray and plan for our next head pastor. This isn’t just another survey; it is a meaningful, energizing time for us to paint an authentic picture of who we are today and where we hope to go. Your voice is essential in helping us attract the right leader and ensuring they feel truly welcomed and informed. We’ll provide breakfast, lunch, and childcare—all we need is your presence to help us put our best foot forward as a congregation. Please RSVP here.

As we prepare for this day, join us in prayer for the leader God is already preparing for us.

Gracious God, we ask for your guidance over our next head pastor; grant them a spirit of wisdom, a heart for service, and a clear sense of your calling to this specific church family. May they be energized by the vision we share and feel the warmth of our community even now. Soften our hearts to listen to one another and keep our eyes fixed on the future you have planned for GPC. We trust in your timing and your provision as we walk this path together. Amen.
With Hope,
The Pastor Nominating Committee
Megan Brew (Chair), Andrea Christianson, Margaret Clair, Lillian Gillespie, Kathleen Jennings (Recording Secretary), John Marshall, Gerry Martinez (Vice Chair), Karl Mattison, Marianne Roos (Corresponding Secretary)
