Ambassadors visit New Boutique

Ambassadors visited Hidden Rose Boutique; 130 E. Vine ST, in Owatonna, to welcome them as a new member. Melissa Ward is the owner. Hidden Rose Boutique offers women’s clothing from sizes small to plus sizes. They also carry shoes and jewelry. 

Wellness from Food to Fitness at New Member

Ambassadors visit with Owatonna Fitness and Wellness Center and Fresh Café; 130 E. Vine ST, in Owatonna, to welcome them as a new member. Reagan West is the owner. Owatonna Fitness and Wellness Center has all your health needs in mind. From fitness classes, including cycling, yoga and bootcamp as well as nutrition and personal training. Fresh Café offers homemade wraps, salads, smoothies, protein shakes and more!

Join us for a mixology class and learn how to make summer cocktails with Riley from   La Crosse Distilling Company.  This class will teach you how to make craft cocktails using ingredients from local liquor stores or some you may already have on hand.  Don’t miss this chance to elevate your home bartending skills and impress your friends or family!  If you are a current YPro member, this event is free of charge.  If you aren’t a member, the event fee is $25 or consider joining for $40, which will get you into all the events for the rest of this year!  Contact Rhonda Guthier, rguthier@owatonna.org if you have any questions on membership or Young Professional events.  

Workforce Eyes Graduation & Possibly Your Business

Attracting talent needs to start with an introduction to your business.  That's the aim of Made in Owatonna Days.
The Made in Owatonna program shows students opportunities right in the area.  In May, the virtual programming will focus on Engineering, Manufacturing, and Technology career fields. 
The Made in Owatonna days are supported by the Bosch Community Fund.  

West Bridge Roundabout & Reconstruction 

The City of Owatonna started construction on West Bridge Street with both directions of traffic on West Bridge Street between Park Drive and the Southbound I-35 ramps will be closed, and traffic will be routed around the work area via I-35 and Hoffman. 
The Park Drive and I-35 ramp intersections will remain open to traffic at this time.  Estimated completion of project is no later than October 30, 2021.  Video and detour map.  

North Cedar Avenue Streetscape Project Weekly Update

  • The bidding process is anticipated to begin Wednesday, May 5 with deadlines for bids due May 26.
  • Construction is anticipated to being as early as June 14.
