LongCon III: Longview Public Library Mini Convention

Fandoms unite at our third annual mini fan convention: LongCon! There's something for everyone at this celebration of geek and pop culture.
Saturday, February 17th, LongCon will be taking over the library from 11 AM - 3 PM. Throughout the day, attendees can visit vendors in the Koth Gallery, play a game in the MJO Room, make a craft to take home in the children's area, and snap a photo at our selfie station. At 11:30 AM, moderator Dan Foster will lead members of the LCC Anime Club and other local enthusiasts in a panel discussion about anime. Following the panel, we'll have space in the Magazine and Genealogy rooms at the front of the library to meet fellow fans and discuss your favorite characters, plots, and more at fandom-themed discussion tables.
The LongCon Costume Contest begins at 1 PM. Participants must register by 12:45 PM at the sign up table in the Main Reading Room. Complete rules and the registration form are available on our website at longviewlibrary.org/longcon.php
