UO EVENTS
- Bring a bag to fill with candy as you trick-or-treat through the EMU today, 11:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.
- Get spooked during the Haunted Campus Tour. Tours are tonight at 6:00 and 6:30. Reserve your spot ahead of time.
- It’s Halloween—the perfect time for a horror movie. Come to Ducks After Dark tonight to watch the A24 film MaXXXine for free. Doors open at 7:45 p.m. in 214 EMU.
- Come by the Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art for performances and a celebration of Day of the Dead on Friday, Nov. 1, at 6:00 p.m.
- Take up a new hobby at BIPOC Climb Night. Sign up to carpool for free from campus to Elevation Bouldering Gym on Saturday, Nov. 2, at 5:00 p.m.
- Meet local fungi expert Ed Fredette for a free clinic and information session on mushroom foraging. Come to the Outdoor Program Rental Barn (1225 East 18th Avenue) on Friday, Nov. 8, 6:00–8:00 p.m.
- Bring clothes you want to part with and find gems from other people’s closets at the Clothing Swap on Friday, Nov. 15, 3:00–4:00 p.m. in the EMU’s Crater Lake South Room. There will be pizza too!

NOTEWORTHY
- Pick up some produce, bread, and toilet paper for free at the Trillium Plus Produce Drop every Tuesday at 2:45–5:00 p.m. Bring your UO student ID and a reusable bag to the EMU Amphitheater.
- The application deadline for LeaderShape Institute has been extended to Sunday, Nov. 10. The free, four-day institute will take place Dec. 15–18.
- After a year of impressive research endeavors and acclaim at the UO, sponsored project funding has increased with $178 million in new awards, a 47 percent increase from the previous fiscal year.
- The basketball season is ramping up. Be aware of increased traffic during home games that may impact parking and driving on campus.

TALKS AND WORKSHOPS
- Take a trip to Greece and experience a place of rich history through immersive learning, site visits, and engaging discussions. Attend the virtual information session about this study abroad program, Gender, Art, and Archaeology in Ancient Greece, on Friday, Nov. 1, at noon.
- Gain research experience and receive a $12,000 stipend by joining the HEDCO Institute Undergraduate Scholars Program. Join a virtual information session on Monday, Nov. 4, at 1:00 p.m. to learn more.
- Get insight into the history of US presidential elections at the panel discussion “More than 2024: Historians Pick the Craziest and Most Consequential US Elections.” Swing by on Monday, Nov. 4, at 5:00 p.m. in 375 McKenzie Hall.
- Attend the lecture "Beyond Voting: Models for Civic Action From Tulsa’s Black Wall Street" detailing author and journalist Victor Luckerson’s research. RSVP for the lecture on Thursday, Nov. 7, at 11:30 a.m. at the Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art.

HEALTH AND WELLNESS
- University Health Services is providing election week support options on Tuesday and Wednesday, Nov. 5 and 6, including therapy animals and relaxation spaces.
- Try out activities that center Black joy including art, laughter, music, and movement during Black Joy Sessions on Wednesday, Nov. 6, 1:00–2:00 p.m. in the Lyllye Reynolds-Parker Black Cultural Center (1870 East 15th Avenue).
- Join the Black CommUnity Table on Wednesday, Nov. 13, 1:00–2:00 p.m. with topics ranging from campus activism to popular culture. This group takes place in the Lyllye Reynolds-Parker Black Cultural Center.
- Move it for Movember—a month of events focused on men’s health and well-being.
