A Message from the Division of Student Life
Dear UO Students,

With spring break quickly approaching and regardless of where you are currently residing, we ask you to remain vigilant and not travel at this time.

A Week for Wellness

We have a number of fun and safe activities planned for you. The week will be themed around wellness and offer opportunities for you to de-stress, be creative, and relax. Students in the Eugene Springfield area will have access to activities that can be picked up or in person.

Traveling

If you must travel, minimize your risk of contracting or spreading COVID-19 in these three easy steps:
  1. Before you travel, check your destination state and city for any travel restrictions or requirements. Do not travel if you have been diagnosed with COVID-19 and are in isolation, have experienced any COVID-19 symptoms in the past three days, or have had contact with a confirmed case, or are in quarantine.
  2. Before you head back, schedule a test for 3-5 days after your return. Your two best resources if you live in Eugene are: MAP testing or other testing providers in Lane County.
  3. Upon return, quarantine by yourself until you receive word of a negative test—and watch yourself for symptoms. Keep distance and wear your mask around others, including your roommate.

Reminders and resources

We hope you all enjoy spring break, and that your final weeks of winter term are safe, productive, and healthy.
Sincerely,

Kris Winter
