A Word From Our Head of School
|
|
| Dear LCA families,
November is here! We have officially begun the second quarter of the school year. As a parent and grandparent, I know how quickly this portion of the year flies by. My hope is that during this season, you will be surrounded by loved ones and build lasting memories with your children. I am blessed to serve this vibrant community and have enjoyed interacting with many of you. Here are a few important matters that I would like to discuss with you all.
Annual Fund Campaign: Strengthening Our School Together
Firstly, I want to express my gratitude for your continuous support and commitment to our school's mission. It is because of your dedication that we can create a nurturing and enriching educational environment for our students. The Eagle Fund Annual Campaign launches Friday with the Annual Fund Showcase: Night of Illusion at 6:00pm. All are invited to attend. This campaign plays a pivotal role in ensuring that we can provide exceptional educational experiences for our students. I encourage you all to participate in this campaign by making a meaningful donation. Your contribution, no matter the size, will make a significant difference in the lives of our students and the overall educational landscape of our community. We passionately believe that every child deserves a chance to succeed, and your support can help us make that belief a reality. Click here to make a one-time donation or a monthly pledge.
Working Together to Keep Our Students Safe
Secondly, the safety of our students is of paramount importance to us. With the increasing number of vehicles during pick-up and drop-off times, it is crucial that we work together to maintain a safe environment in our school parking lot. I kindly urge all parents and guardians to adhere to the designated drop-off and pick-up zones, follow traffic rules, and be mindful of pedestrian safety. Please remind your children not to cross in between cars, but to use the designated crosswalks. By cooperating and showing patience and understanding, we can ensure the safety of every child entering and leaving our campus. Let us continue to set a positive example for our students by demonstrating patience, kindness, and respect in our interactions with one another. Click here to view LCA Parking Lot Reminders.
Lastly, I would also like to remind you of the importance of open communication. If you have any concerns, suggestions, or feedback about the LCA's operations or your child's education, please contact us. Your insights are invaluable, and we are always here to listen and address any questions or concerns you may have.
Thank you once again for your unwavering support. Together, we can make a significant difference in the lives of our students and ensure a safe, nurturing, and enriching learning environment for them. May this season of gratitude and togetherness bring blessings to your families.
Joyfully,
Michelle Buntain Cox
Head of School
