A Time for Reflection

It is difficult to believe that it has been a year since we launched PsalmSeason on June 8, 2020 with the PsalmSeason Concert. And what a year it has been...

Thankfully, as the number of infections and COVID-related deaths continue to decrease and as vaccinations continue to increase it feels like we are on the cusp of something new. After a long and dark winter, summer is finally arriving. We are deeply grateful for the incredible work that so many have done and continue to do to help care for and protect one another as we move toward a healthier and more just new "normal".

In this liminal moment, we invite you to look back at the PsalmSeason journey we made together and the moving contributions shared by so many artists, musicians, poets, dancers, religious scholars, and thought leaders. Take a few moments to pause and (re)listen to the wonderful work shared by 18 talented artists who helped make our launch concert by clicking on the button below and peruse the many offerings on the PsalmSeason website hosted by our dear friends and colleagues at the Interfaith Youth Core.

Watch This Space!

We are excited to announce that there will be more opportunities to engage with PsalmSeason in the future! We are working on a published collection of PsalmSeason content to be published by Paraclete Press in 2022. We have also recently received a generous grant from the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops to develop a multi-media curriculum that builds upon the work of PsalmSeason and the joint course that Dr. Andrew Davis (Boston College) and Rabbi Or Rose (Hebrew College) have cotaught for local theological and graduate students for several years now.

We wlll have more information to share in the months ahead, but we wanted you to be the first to know that this is not the end of PsalmSeason but a continuation of this rich dialogue with the wisdom of the Book of Psalms across spiritual and cultural traditions.

Thank you, again, for your interest and support of our work. We look forward to continuing this journey with you. May the weeks and months ahead bring us increased health, happiness, and light as we work together to strengthen and renew our shared world.
