August 24TH, 2020

Dear UACS families,

This week we are throwing it back with some summer highlights, and looking forward to what the new school year will bring. We are in full preparation mode to bring you fresh fall virtual programming, and will be implementing in-person programs at select locations, too! Please stay tuned for updates about enrollment and offerings. As a reminder, we will be publishing this newsletter bi-weekly until fall programs begin.

Wishing you good health and a smooth transition into fall,

TikTok Talent with Civic Engagement

Civic Engagement Summer (CES) is a brand new peer-to-peer youth voter engagement program offered through the Netter Center's partnership with the Philadelphia Youth Network.
This summer, CES high school interns and facilitators took a new twist on civic engagement by creating tiktoks to share voter education and encourage high school students to register and vote.

Here are three of our favorites:

It's Voter Registration Time - Joe Green (West Catholic Prep)
Why You Should Vote - Deborah Karnuah (West Catholic Prep)
How You Can (Maybe) Vote Before 18 - Jay Falk (Penn)
